TESHIL GANGARAM

Born in 1987, Teshil started hiking in Mauritius at the age of 10. Ever since, he has been exploring the various peaks in Mauritius and went for his basic Mountaineering course in 2009. Teshil is representing Team Mauritius for the 7 Summits Africa challenge where he led the team up Mawenzi peak in 2018. When he is in shape, he can confidently lead climbs up to D/6c grades.

His dream mountain is Mount Fitz Roy and his dream climb is a traditional climbing line on Corps de Garde back in Mauritius. The latter has only been climbed once to date.
